On Friday College Place take on Cle Elum-Roslyn at 7:00 PM. College Place is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
College Place gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last week. Everything went their way against Highland as they made off with a 21-0 win. College Place was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Cle Elum-Roslyn had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were given a punishing 0-48 defeat at the hands of River View. Cle Elum-Roslyn were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-35.
College Place's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Cle Elum-Roslyn's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if College Place can add another positive mark to their record or if Cle Elum-Roslyn can shake off the loss and take the spring out of College Place's step.
