The Treasure Coast Titans won against the Port St. Lucie Jaguars on Tuesday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Treasure Coast managed a 58-54 victory over Port St. Lucie. The win made it back-to-back wins for Treasure Coast.
Despite the loss, Port St. Lucie still got an impressive performance from Ryan Rodriguez, who scored 28 points along with 7 rebounds. Rodriguez scored a full 51.9% of Port St. Lucie's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Javien Sapienza, who scored 10 points along with 6 assists.
Treasure Coast's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Port St. Lucie, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Treasure Coast will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln Park Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Port St. Lucie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Somerset College Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Somerset College Prep Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 401st, while Port St. Lucie is ranked 54th).
