Basketball Recap: Temple Christian Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Temple Christian had won two straight road games and Silas Riggins did his part to make it three on Monday. The Temple Christian Watchmen took down the Heritage Christian Academy Lions 46-32 thanks in part to Riggins, who posted 16 points. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

When it comes to explaining why Heritage Christian Academy lost, don't look at Matthew Pappas. Despite the final result, he had 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Hicks, who put up eight points.

Temple Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9-1.

Temple Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-33 defeat against Mid-Moore Christian on the 16th. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-39 win against Cristo Rey Fort Worth on the 14th.
