Softball Recap: White Castle Wins Going Away Against West St. John

White Castle made up a huge gap compared to their last game against West St. John, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bulldogs blew past the Rams 21-4 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 14 runs or more this season.

White Castle is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.5 runs over those games. As for West St. John, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8-1.

White Castle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 21-2 loss against Plaquemine on the 9th. As for West St. John, they will welcome Crescent City Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
