Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps national rankings, Cox should expect quite the challenge on Saturday. They will take on Easton at 2:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the teams both put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
Last Saturday, Cox put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took the contest and then some with a 42-7 win over Kennedy. The success made it back-to-back wins for Cox.
Meanwhile, Easton got themselves on the board against Eleanor McMain, but Eleanor McMain never followed suit. Easton were fully in charge, breezing past Eleanor McMain 46-0. 46 seems to be a good number for Easton as the squad scooped up a victory with the same point total in their game two weeks ago against Belle Chasse.
Cox took a serious blow against Easton the last time the two teams met, falling 9-61. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
