Having just played yesterday, the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors will get right back to it and host the Hickory Christian Academy Knights at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Veritas Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Hickory Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
Even though Lake Lure Classical Academy scored an imposing 60 points on Thursday, Veritas Christian Academy still came out on top. Veritas Christian Academy walked away with a 72-60 win over Lake Lure Classical Academy.
In what's become a running theme this season, Hickory Christian Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past University Christian 74-41 on the road. The victory was just what Hickory Christian Academy needed coming off of a 73-48 defeat in their prior game.
Veritas Christian Academy pushed their record up to 11-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.5 points per game. As for Hickory Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Veritas Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Hickory Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 83-77 win. Will Veritas Christian Academy repeat their success, or does Hickory Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
