Berean Academy had won four straight games and Daniel Wigginton did his part to make it five on Friday. The Berean Academy Eagles strolled past Mount Pisgah Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 75-56 thanks in part to Wigginton, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 boards. The match was his seventh in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Ethan Durham, who posted eight points in addition to six boards and five steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

Berean Academy pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Berean Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-41 victory against Hixson on the 16th. As for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Foundation Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
