The Keswick Christian Crusaders put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Southeast 59-13 at home. Fans of Keswick Christian have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Ava Graham continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with 5 assists and 5 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Keswick Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Robyn Cantwell, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Despite the defeat, Southeast saw an underclassman step up: Gabriela Morales scored 9 points. Morales scored a full 69.2% of Southeast's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Keswick Christian has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 4-0 record. As for Southeast, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keswick Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Academy of the Holy Names at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. Academy of the Holy Names is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.3 points per game. Southeast is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Gulf Coast HEAT at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. Gulf Coast HEAT presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Southeast in Florida (Gulf Coast HEAT is ranked 154th, while Southeast is ranked 500th).
