The win was all the more spectacular given Duncanville's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Lake Ridge is ranked ninth).
Cedar Hill's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Duncanville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.
