Several Chiefs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Elijah Strader, who threw for 308 yards and a pair of  TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes.  Coming up, McIntosh will venture away from home to  challenge Banneker  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Chiefs will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.86  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Langston Hughes, they will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Northgate at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 17th. The Vikings' defense has only allowed 11  points per game  this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
