With a playoff win on the line, Bradford rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers by a score of 24-14. Winning may never get old, but the Tornadoes sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Bradford found their leader in sophomore Cy Cubbedge, who threw for 171 yards and one TD, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Iyen Addison handled things on the ground, rushing for 105 yards.
Bradford's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Berkeley Prep, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5.
Bradford has already played their next matchup, a 17-10 loss against Cocoa on the 28th. Berkeley Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
