Clarksville's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kellen J howard, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, and Sheldon Huber who scored 18 points. J howard is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jabari Jolley, who scored five points along with two steals.
Kirkwood is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Clarksville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Kirkwood will be playing at home against Northeast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northeast comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Clarksville, they will head out on the road to face off against Springfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Springfield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Clarksville likes a good challenge.
