Tatum came tearing into Tuesday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the West Rusk Raiders as they made off with a 10-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Tatum got a massive performance out of Cooper Whiteus, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Whiteus has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Dustin Henigan, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Tatum's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for West Rusk, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9-1 record this season.

Tatum will have a chance to go back-to-back against West Rusk: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
