University Christian came out on top against Potter's House Christian Blue by a score of 57-44 on Friday. Given University Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 179th, while Potter's House Christian Blue is ranked 446th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Shadrack Kakora was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was AUSTIN KELLOGG, who scored eight points.
University Christian pushed their record up to 12-8 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Potter's House Christian Blue, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
University Christian will head out on the road to challenge Bishop Kenny at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Kenny and University Christian are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Potter's House Christian Blue, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against West Oaks Academy at 7:00 p.m.
