After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Sioux City East, Lincoln was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Sioux City West Wolverines by a score of  3-1. The  win was some much needed relief for the Lynx as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.
 Lincoln walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 21-25,  25-23.
 Mallory Townsend paced Lincoln's offense, picking up 13 kills. Townsend got some help from  Emily Townsend and her 17 assists.  Kaybree Blair controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
The  win was their first  at home , bumping their record up to 7-24. As for Sioux City West, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the  defeat, which was their fifth straight  on the road.
Lincoln will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolverines: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
