Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dyson Britt, who shot 70% from the field en route to 21 points and six assists. Britt has also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season. Covenant Day got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Douglas Smith out in front who shot 89% from the field on his way to 21 points and five boards. Thanks to that strong game, Smith now owns an excellent 48.7% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Thompson, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
