The Rialto Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Temecula Valley Golden Bears at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Rialto barely beat Bloomington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Rialto was the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over Bloomington on Monday. Considering the Knights have won four games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Isaac Carrillo was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Aydin Ayala also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Temecula Valley came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. With that win, the Golden Bears brought their scoring average up to 7 runs per game.
Taden Krogsgaard made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That one hit allowed gave him a new career-low. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
In other pitching news, Jamison Brack looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, Temecula Valley let Ryan Recio and Rocco Pugliese run wild. Recio went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Pugliese scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Will Bandel was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run.
Temecula Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
The victory made it two in a row for Rialto and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Temecula Valley, their record is now 5-1.
