Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity). They were the clear victor by a 71-47 margin over the Hathaway Brown Blazers on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on five straight.
Despite the loss, Hathaway Brown still got an impressive performance from Emily Morgan, who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jane Kennedy, who had nine points.
Trinity's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.2 points. As for Hathaway Brown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
Coming up, Trinity will take on Fairview at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Trinity knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Fairview likes a good challenge. Hathaway Brown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
