Meanwhile, Linden-McKinley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Centennial 78-29. Linden-McKinley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-14.
Northland's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Linden-McKinley, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9.
Northland strolled past the Panthers in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 64-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northland since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
