Meanwhile, Sunrise Christian Academy came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 43 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 55-22 win over the Falcons at home.
Wade Keller continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 355 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 14.2 yards per attempt, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Darren Allison helped Keller out on the ground, picking up 109 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Sunrise Christian Academy's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Allison with two sacks. Jadon Morris was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Lebo's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Sunrise Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
