Seventy-First's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kariana Williams, who scored 15 points along with six assists and five steals. Williams is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariyah Massey, who scored 13 points along with six steals and five assists.
Despite the loss, Purnell Swett still got an impressive performance from Niyah Locklear, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. Locklear is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played.
Seventy-First has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for Purnell Swett, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
