La Salle College has gone a perfect 8-0 against Devon Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Explorers will head out to face off against the Tide at 4:00 p.m.
Neumann-Goretti hit La Salle College with a seven-run sixth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Explorers lost 9-3 to the Saints.

Cooper Weiss was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Brycen Clarke made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Devon Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against Penncrest by a score of 8-4 on Saturday.
Colin Carey looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, Devon Prep let Will Newbert and Billy Degler run wild. Newbert went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Degler went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Degler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Stephen Land, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Devon Prep's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for La Salle College, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 3-2.
La Salle College was able to grind out a solid win over Devon Prep in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, winning 6-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Explorers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
