Southside proved they can win big last Monday (they won by eight) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bear Grass Charter Bears, sneaking past 4-3. The victory was nothing new for the Seahawks as they're now sitting on four straight.

They hit Bear Grass Charter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Pricila Selvin Gomez (2), Estrella Ramos, and Kimberly Perez.

Southside's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Bear Grass Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Southside will be playing at home against West Craven at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bear Grass Charter, they will head out to challenge Lejeune at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lejeune is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.4 goals per game this season.
