Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jimtown). They strolled past the South Central Satellites with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 46-32. This was payback for the Jimmies, who suffered a 55-52 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Jimtown was led to victory by Lily Gaugler and Kiera Jackson. Gaugler went 5 for 8 en route to 20 points and five rebounds, while Jackson posted ten points and six boards. What's more, Jackson also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Williams, who had four points.
Jimtown was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Lexi Johnson and Samantha Marks certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss.
