FLORENCE, S.C. -
Bluffton (S.C.) had a comfortable lead entering the fourth quarter, but used 10 fourth quarter points to seal the 37-13 victory over
South Florence (Florence, S.C.).
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
C.J. Frazier to
Demetrius Smalls in the second quarter, the Bobcats led 20-0 at the half.
Each side put up seven points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at 20.
Bluffton put up 20 points in the second quarter en route to the win. BHS scored on a touchdown pass by Frazier to Smalls, a
Tykeem Major touchdown run and a passing touchdown in the quarter.
Major played well for the Bobcats in the victory. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored 12 touchdowns on the season.
Led by
Shameik Blackshear, Bluffton had given up an average of 11.9 points prior to the contest.
The win was a nice bounce back for BHS, which lost to Summerville last week, 31-22.
