Rob Staples posted a new career-high in total tackles on Friday. He picked up a sack, made eight total tackles, and defended one pass, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

Looking ahead, Staples and Monrovia will venture away from home to face off against Temple City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats are a perfect 9-0 against the Rams going back to October of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
