The Whitefish Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Libby Loggers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for Whitefish, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 72-70. Whitefish has not had much luck with Browning recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Meanwhile, Libby's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 11th straight loss. They fell to Polson 35-30.
Whitefish has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Libby, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13.
Whitefish was able to grind out a solid victory over Libby in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 40-28. Will Whitefish repeat their success, or does Libby have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
