There's no place like home for the Sunset Knights, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Reagan 47-20 at home. For Sunset, this counts as revenge for the 52-26 defeat Reagan walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2017.
Bianca Pancheco was the offensive standout of the match as she almost dropped a triple-double on 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 12 steals. She hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Torrech, who scored 10 points along with 4 steals.
The victory got Sunset back to even at 2-2. As for Reagan, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunset will take on Coral Reef at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Reagan, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Varela at 3:30 p.m.
