Meanwhile, Raines waltzed into Friday's game with six straight wins but they left with seven. They didn't even let Westside onto the board and left with a 53-0 win. Raines pushed the score to 37-0 by the end of the third, a deficit Westside had no chance of recovering from.
Raines' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ty'ren Randolph, who rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 34 yards and a touchdown. Mark Miller also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Andrew Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Raines, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
