After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Academy of Holy Angels, DeLaSalle was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Richfield Spartans. The win continues a trend for the Islanders in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won five in a row.

While DeLaSalle won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-11, 25-24.

DeLaSalle's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Richfield, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.
