Meanwhile, East Valley lost 3-0 to Deer Park on Tuesday. The Knights have struggled against the Stags recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

While East Valley was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Deer Park's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-21.

Clarkston's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for East Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
