Glenbrook North hadn't done well against Glenbrook South recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Titans. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Glenbrook North and bumps their season record up to 14-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Glenbrook South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-21.

Coming up, Glenbrook North will take on Elmwood Park at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Glenbrook South, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Trier at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
