The Ada Cougars will be playing at home against the Oologah Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ada will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
Last Friday, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Ada made off with a 28-27 victory over Broken Bow. The win was just what Ada needed coming off of a 40-7 defeat in their prior matchup.
Ada can attribute much of their success to Kolten Carlock, who rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Fisher Marr was in the mix as well, providing Ada with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Oologah didn't have too much trouble with McLain Science & Tech on the road on Friday as they won 37-19. The victory was just what Oologah needed coming off of a 45-21 loss in their prior contest.
Their wins bumped Ada to 9-1 and Oologah to 5-6.
Ada was able to grind out a solid victory over Oologah in their previous meeting back in November of 2017, winning 27-20. Will Ada repeat their success, or does Oologah have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
