If the Milford Eagles were feeling good  off their  61-27 takedown of the Loveland Tigers on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Milford fell to Winton Woods  38-33. The  matchup was a  13-13 toss-up at halftime, but Milford  was outscored by Winton Woods in the second.
 Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Violet Shuluga, who  dropped  a double-double on 10 points and 13  rebounds.  Ella Crompton was another key contributor,  scoring 7 points along with 7  rebounds.
 Milford's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Winton Woods, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
 Coincidentally,  both teams will both be playing Little Miami the next time they take the court. Milford will head out to face Little Miami at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday, while Winton Woods will  host them  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday.
