The Independent Panthers fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They secured a 34-28 W over Solomon on Thursday.
Tatum Stalnaker was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 141 yards and a touchdown. Mason Lipsey was in the mix as well, providing Independent with two touchdowns.
When it comes to explaining why Solomon lost, one person who can't be blamed is Porter Hynes. Despite the final result, he rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.
Independent's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Solomon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Independent does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Solomon also has no future games currently scheduled.
