The Barker Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 47-13 loss at the hands of Wilson. Barker was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-5.
Rian Faery was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on nine points, 14 rebounds, and nine steals for Wilson. Faery has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton McInnis, who scored 12 points along with seven steals and five rebounds.
Barker dropped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Wilson, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.
Barker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wilson, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Grand Island at 6:30 p.m. on February 9th.
