East River has been on a difficult stretch since their win on November 22. They lost 4-1 to the Colonial Grenadiers on Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Falcons were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Dhemari Dacres, who's now up to five this season.

East River's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Colonial, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-3.

East River will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Boone at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th. After both having extra time off, Colonial and Orlando Science will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 8th. Colonial is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.2 goals per game this season.
