The Brackenridge Eagles won the last time they faced the MacArthur Brahmas, and things went their way on Saturday too. Brackenridge snuck past MacArthur with a 45-39 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Brackenridge.
Isaiah Cardona continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Javi Solis, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Brackenridge has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-16 record this season. As for MacArthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Sam Houston the next time they take the court. MacArthur will host Sam Houston at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Brackenridge will host them at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
