Lutheran has gone 7-2 against Cheyenne Mountain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lions will be playing at home against the Red-Tailed Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Lutheran will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, Lutheran got the win against Discovery Canyon by a conclusive 3-0.
Lutheran walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 25-17.

Madeline Miller had an outrageously good game as she had 14 digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.
They weren't the only good servers: Lutheran was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Cheyenne Mountain made easy work of Air Academy on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Cheyenne Mountain never let Air Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-16.
Lutheran better keep an eye on Sophia Evans. She was instrumental in Cheyenne Mountain's win, getting seven digs and seven assists.
Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Cheyenne Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's match: Lutheran has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.3 aces per game. However, it's not like Cheyenne Mountain struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
