Gabriel Montijo gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He is becoming a predictor of Mesa Ridge's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is undefeated (and 4-13 when he doesn't).
