The North Augusta Yellow Jackets entered their tilt with the Airport Eagles with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. North Augusta breezed by Airport on the road to the tune of 49-15. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as North Augusta just coasted through the last quarter.
It was another big night for Michael Doe, who rushed for 197 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. Doe hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for four straight games. Noah Wyatt made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
North Augusta's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Airport, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Augusta will challenge Midland Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Midland Valley will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Airport will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Westside at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd. Westside presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Airport in South Carolina (Westside is ranked 15th, while Airport is ranked 116th).
