The Sacramento Country Day Cavaliers were the 48-22 winner over the John Adams Academy Patriots when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Despite the loss, Sacramento Country Day still got an impressive performance from Parker Byers, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Derek Taylor, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
It was another big night for Isaiah McKee, who dropped a double-double on 63 points and 19 rebounds for John Adams Academy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McKee has scored all season. Luciano Allen was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Sacramento Country Day's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-11. As for John Adams Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-13.
Sacramento Country Day will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. Valley Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully the Cavaliers like a good challenge. As for John Adams Academy, they will head out on the road to take on the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
