The Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans won the last time they faced the Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks, and things went their way on Friday too. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler enjoyed a cozy 52-38 win over Blackville-Hilda. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler.
Tilayzia Youmans continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Akeira Blue, who scored five points along with nine blocks and five steals.
Hunter-Kinard-Tyler's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-3. As for Blackville-Hilda, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Denmark-Olar the next time they take the court. Blackville-Hilda will head out to face Denmark-Olar at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Hunter-Kinard-Tyler will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
