It was another big night for Maggie Mauldin, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds for Berry. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Mauldin has scored at least a third of Berry's points. Sydney Rice was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds.
South Lamar's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Berry, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-12.
