Saint James has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Saturday, things could have been worse for Saint James, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-37 loss to Providence Christian. While losing is never fun, Saint James can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 414th, while Providence Christian is ranked 140th).
Alabama Christian Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 64-46 to Montgomery Academy.
Saint James bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Alabama Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
Saint James lost to Alabama Christian Academy on the road by a decisive 52-34 margin in their previous matchup last Tuesday. Can Saint James avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
