The Fort Worth Christian Cardinals''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by All S 43-7. While losing is never fun, Fort Worth Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 629th, while All S is ranked 190th).
Luke Dodd threw for 204 yards and a touchdown. Kade Kropholler was his top target, picking up 59 receiving yards. On the ground, Landon Spencer rushed for 35 yards.
Leading All S to victory were Alijah Johnson and Kelden Ryan. Johnson rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns, while Ryan threw for 178 yards and three touchdowns while completing 92.3% of his passes. All S also got help from Qumonte Williams who showed off his sure hands for 96 receiving yards.
Fort Worth Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for All S, their victory was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 7-2.
Fort Worth Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. All S will look to defend their home field on Friday against Grapevine Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m.
