It may have taken triple overtime to finish the job, but Menendez ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 42-41 photo finish over the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Menendez's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sophia Scibelli, who posted 14 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Lucia Warner was another key player, putting up five points in addition to six assists and four blocks.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alexandra Perez, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Works, who had 15 points.

Menendez pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Flagler Palm Coast, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-3 record this season.

Menendez wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 39-34 loss against Mainland on the 28th. As for Flagler Palm Coast, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-26 victory against Palatka on the 28th.
