The Spring Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Willis 69-30 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Spring sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Gabby Salazar was on fire: she scored 33 points. Those 33 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Alayah Masters, who scored ten points.
Spring is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Willis, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Montgomery the next time they take the court. Spring will head out to face Montgomery at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, while Willis will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
