Dover relied on the efforts of Kenzie Mccrotty, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, and Logan Young, who dropped a game high double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Young is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 18 or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Madison Spradlin, who scored four points.
Meanwhile, Mayflower didn't have too much trouble with the Mustangs on the road on Tuesday as they won 69-51. Given Mayflower's advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Mustangs are ranked 209th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Dover is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Mayflower, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.
