Clear Spring and Fort Hill are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Clear Spring Blazers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fort Hill Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Clear Spring has now lost 16 straight, leaving the team is hunting for their first win since December 26.
Last Friday, Clear Spring ended up a good deal behind Mountain Ridge and lost 69-52. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Clear Spring in their matchups with Mountain Ridge: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Fort Hill unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 73-61 to Allegany. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Clear Spring's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Fort Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.
Clear Spring was taken down by Fort Hill 76-47 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Clear Spring was down 38-18.
